As the founder of Macritchie, Will has been active in all aspects of the Group.

Previously, Will spent over two decades in the financial sector in hedge funds,
private equity and investment banking.

Prior to forming Macritchie, Will was a credit investor and portfolio manager with
Liberty Harbor, a Goldman Sachs hedge fund. He has worked in Toronto, Chicago,
New York, Singapore, and Calgary.

Will holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and an undergraduate
degree in International Business and Finance from New York University.

With over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, Tim has helped both public and private companies raise in excess of a billion dollars. Prior to joining Macritchie, Tim was president of Solnet Capital, which provided capital markets advisory services to both public and private companies. Previously, Tim spent six years as Vice President of Institutional Sales at Macquarie Capital, and eight years in equity research at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse First Boston and Midland Walwyn Capital with a focus on technology, telecommunications and North American printing coverage.

At Macritchie, Tim is a member of the Executive Committee, Investment Committee and was previously responsible for Otter Self Storage, a vertical which acquires and automates self-storage facilities in mid-tier markets across the US. Under Tim’s direction, Otter committed over $125M of capital and acquired over 25 facilities across 12 states. Tim has since transitioned to focus on fundraising initiatives, strategy, and working alongside portfolio managers.

Tim holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, a BA from York University,
and is a CFA.

Chad joined Macritchie in the summer of 2024 to lead all property management operations.

Chad brings extensive property management experience having led property operations at RedDot Storage where he oversaw operations over 190 remotely managed facilities across 19 states.

Chad’s expertise in customer experience, operations, and revenue management further enhance Macritchie Group’s operations.

At Macritchie, Morgan leads the vertical and the team that develops self-storage facilities, is responsible for due diligence, overseeing the acquisition and build processes, and managing the ongoing operations. The portfolios that Morgan manages for Macritchie Storage has successfully committed over $175M of capital and developed 17 facilities across 14 states, with 3 projects currently in construction and 7 in various stages of permitting. In 2023, Morgan’s role expanded to manage the team in Otter Self Storage, a vertical which acquires and automates self-storage facilities in mid-tier markets across the U.S. Otter has committed over $125M of capital and acquired over 25 facilities across 12 states. Morgan is also a member of the Executive Committee and Investment Committee at Macritchie.

Morgan graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance.

At Macritchie, Ben leads the vertical and team that is focused on the acquisition and development of RV storage assets operating under the Honey Bee RV Storage brand. Ben is responsible for the investments, capital sourcing, asset management, and strategic growth of the vertical. The Honey Bee portfolio that Ben manages has successfully committed over $200M of capital towards 20+ transactions. Ben is also a member of the Executive Committee and Investment Committee at Macritchie.

Ben graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance.

Gabriel joined Macritchie in 2022 and leads the finance and accounting functions for both the investment funds and operating units. Gabriel has almost two decades of audit experience and was most recently an Audit Director with BDO USA, LLP. At BDO, he led audit activity for private equity and other investment funds. Beforehand, Gabriel served as Senior Audit Director at RSM’s asset management group and in audit services at both EY and PwC.

Additionally, he also served as a controller for an investment company with a hedge fund and proprietary trading entity, for which he implemented an in-house accounting function. Gabriel is a CPA and holds a BSc. with a major in Public Accounting from Pace University.
